Education
Patrick Hopf completed his Juris Doctor, with distinction, at the University of Saskatchewan in 2014. During law school, Patrick participated in the Laskin Moot competition. Prior to law school Patrick obtained his Bachelor of Science in Cellular Molecular and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary, and a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Western Ontario.
Practice
Patrick joined Main Street Law LLP in 2019 after working in private practice in Saskatchewan. Patrick has experience at all three levels of Court, as well as at Federal Court. Patrick assists clients in a wide variety of litigation matters including construction disputes, corporate and shareholder issues, condominium and property concerns, employment, and creditor’s remedies litigation. Patrick seeks to be pragmatic and reasonable in the practice of law, and to find client-focused solutions that are practical and cost effective.
Associations and Interests
Patrick has been a member a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association des juristes d’expression française de la Saskatchewan since he began articling and is a member of the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association and the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Alberta.
Patrick served as the president of the Association des juristes d’expression française de la Saskatchewan from 2016-2019, and as vice-president from 2015-2016. He also served on the executive of the Federation des jurists d’expression française from 2016-2019. Patrick is now a member of the Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Alberta.
Patrick is an enthusiastic cyclist and enjoys camping and skiing with his young family.
