Education:
Michael D. Thomas received his Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2002 along with a Diploma in Operational Research from the Canadian Operational Research Society. Michael then obtained his law degree from Dalhousie University in 2007 along with a Certificate of Specialization in Business Law.
Practice:
Michael was admitted as a lawyer with the Law Society of Alberta in 2009. After practicing in a wide array of practice areas, Michael is now primarily active in Real Estate transactions, Business Law, Estate Planning, and Estate Administration.

Associations and Interests:
Michael is currently a Director with the Greater Parkland Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has also previously volunteered his time on other boards of directors in the Spruce Grove / Stony Plain areas. Michael has also coached various minor soccer teams. Michael resides locally with his wife and two active daughters. When he’s not in the office or taking his daughters to their various activities, Michael enjoys skiing, paddleboarding, and being outdoors in general.
